DALLAS, TEXAS: Novel Horizons, an independent Original English Light Novel (OELN) book publisher recently concluded a Kickstarter campaign for volume 1 of Shadow of a God which ran from March 15th through March 30th. The emotional fantasy light novel series, skillfully written by Derek Holbrook, is also sprinkled with spectacular manga-style illustrations by Japanese graphic artist, POP.
Shadow of a God follows the young, Ymir who was born with a mysterious black mark on his body and abandoned as a child. Although taken in by a loving family in the peaceful frontier village of Umbrium, he finds himself battling political schemes and prejudices of the Imperial King, all while struggling to find answers to his past and confronting his inner demons as well as those that wish to use him for his power.
The campaign successfully garnered 128% of their funding goal, and now they're preparing for their celebratory launch party via Twitch Livestream. The launch will be hosted by Novel Horizons founder, Jonathan Solis and Shadow of a God author, Derek Holbrook and will give you the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, as well as get exclusive insight into the story.
Texas-based Novel Horizons will publish Shadow of a God in both print and on digital platforms in single-volume editions with estimated delivery in June 2021.
